I am bitterly disappointed with the bins.

OK I accept recycling is an absolue must, but HDC appear to have cleverly shifted the responsibility of doing most of the work for them.

The 'bin-men' or whatever you have to call them these days seem to leave them all over the place and make no effort to put them back on the properties. In Fenstanton we have many mums with pushchairs and persons in wheelchairs who have to negotiate dozens of bins left on the public pavement which I think is grossly unfair.

This is highlighted where someone leaves for work before the bins are emptied and returns again in the early evening, only to find the bin has been left in a place that inconvenienced others for a whole day. When does the householder get sued?
